Family Letter from our Founder and Manager Nesrin Demiray:

Dear Families,

We took on a task of founding a very special school for children because of seriousness and importance that we attached to the pre-school education in Turkey. With the responsibility of this task we saw that the Montessori Education has come to fruition quite beyond all other education methods and also the traditional comprehension after long and sensitive researches. Thus I share with you the pride of being a Montessori School, carrying out the Montessori Method with all of its principles in Turkey and bearing the name of Maria Montessori in the name of our school.

The environment that we have prepared for the children aims at developing the skills of the child that he/she will need for his/her success in life. He/She would learn to work independently and according to his/her pace along with learning to rely on the others. In the Montessori Method the children learn without having the common difficulties of the traditional methods and without being raced and I think, above all, they are living the happiness of learning, producing, and taking responsibility. These skills give each person the features, which will lead him/her to he desirable ends in his/her professional, social and also mental life.

In addition to this we mustn’t forget that an individual is also a member of a society, therefore merely the personal development is not enough. For this reason, Montessori not only is contented with giving the child necessary keys of his/her development but also teaches him/her to raise the human values. Thus, the grad students of Sihirli Bahçe Montessori School start to life with the properties, which many of their peers do not have yet and some will not be able to have for the rest of their lives.

In conclusion, we are a team sharing common values that has an understanding of the importance of what we are carrying on. For all of us an attitude to life can be explained by a single sentence “HAPPINESS OF LEARNING.”
